The Atlanta Hawks didn’t wait until the midseason break to make personnel changes, firing head coach Lloyd Pierce on Monday after an underwhelming 14-20 start to the season.
Hawks’ general manager Travis Schlenk announced the decision to release Pierce, who went 63-120 in 183 games.
