Delta Air Lines Inc. will pay $50,000 to settle a federal complaint that its air crews on two flights engaged in discriminatory conduct against Muslim passengers.
In a Jan. 24 consent order filed by the U.S. Department of Transportation, federal investigators contend Delta (NYSE: DAL) flight crews in July 2016 violated federal regulations prohibiting airlines from subjecting any air traveler to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex or ancestry.
