Championship boxing in Atlanta could be here to stay.
Promotors and organizers took notice to the energetic bunch at State Farm Arena on Saturday night — a crowd that featured a bevy of celebrities, including former NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal and rapper T.I. They were a part of a paid attendance of 14,129 that took their seats to watch Atlanta’s first world title fight since Evander Holyfield defeated Vaughn Bean in 1998.
