The Georgia Aquarium announced Wednesday it’s named a new president and CEO.
Brian Davis, who has been the aquarium’s executive vice president of operations since 2018, will be promoted to the top spot. Davis will replace former CEO Mike Leven, who retired in December as Steve Koonin was named the aquarium’s chairman.
Former Aquarium President Joseph Handy will become president of the Georgia Aquarium Foundation and oversee the charitable arm of the Atlanta-based nonprofit.
