The former city president of a Georgia bank has been sentenced to five years in prison for a multi-million dollar fraud scheme.
McDonald Hardin, 57, of Kathleen, Ga., and two co-consipirators were sentenced this week after pleading guilty to federal charges related to a loan scheme defrauding Citizens Bank and Trust of more than $5 million between February 2008 and August 2010. The case was investigated by the FDIC-OIG and the FBI.
