Often referred to as a Renaissance man, writer-producer-actor Erman Baradi will be taking on the role of host at the 2019 HorrOrigins Film Festival, a first-time film festival happening in Atlanta, GA later this month.
HorrOrigins was founded by Brandon Waites, who is business partners with Erman Baradi on The Film Empire. The Film Empire was founded in April of 2016 and is a Hollywood filmmaking & screenwriting platform. The Film Empire provides a grand prize winner the invaluable opportunity of mentorships and meetings with industry professionals embodying the entire filmmaking process, from development to post-production. Waites and Baradi have hosted over 30 events which have included over 300 special guest speakers.
HorrOrigins Film Festival is an exciting new independent genre film festival that focuses on discovering & premiering independent horror screenwriters & filmmakers in the town deemed HOLLYWOOD of the SOUTH, located in Atlanta, GA.
The festival will feature a wide variety of 51 short and 9 feature films as well as 12 short and feature screenplays, including headliners Making Monsters by Justin Harding and Rob Brunner (feature film) and Creaker by Mathias Dahlstrom (short film). The screenplay contest will consist of both short and feature screenplays. Winners from all categories to be announced at the festival.
HorrOrigins screenings will be held at Cinevision Atlanta on the weekend of October 25 through October 27, 2019.
