
Joshua Williams, the City of Atlanta’s chief operating officer, is leaving his role effective Dec. 1. Bottoms appointed him as deputy COO in 2018, and in March of 2019 he succeeded Richard Cox who left the COO role as an “Executive on Loan” from COX Enterprises.
The City of Atlanta called the move a “transition” and did not indicate how it will move forward with the position.
