Atlanta United will enter this season without another member of the 2018 championship team.
United midfielder Julian Gressel was traded to D.C. United on Tuesday in exchange for up to $1.1 million in allocation money. United will receive $750,000 in targeted allocation money over the next two years and could receive an additional $350,000 if the 26-year-old standout meets specific on-field performance metrics for D.C. United.
