The City of Savannah will be hosting a meeting to discuss the formation of an archaeology ordinance on Thursday, Sept. 26, 6 p.m. at the Coastal Georgia Center.
Contrary to popular opinion, Savannah currently has no ordinance specifically protecting archaeological assets.
